Style, grace, awesome shoes and an amazing day in the mountains. That works for me!

I had the privilege of photographing Heather and Adam’s lovely mountain nuptials and witnessed their  chemistry and incredible love. Not often does the natural beauty of the Rockies get to play second fiddle – but with this couple it definitely took a back seat. There were so many brilliant details and moments, capped by an awesome celebration and reception with their close family and friends.

A special thanks to Sonia Ulmer with Enriched Events and the entire staff at the Delta Kananaskis. who did an unbelievable job.

Heather and Adam, thanks for braving the mosquitoes and heat, and thank you for allowing me to capture this day for you. I wish you both many years of the same passion and zest for life that I witnessed on your wedding day.

All my best!

  • Jason Cathcart - Awesome pictures Edward! You really captured the essence of Heather & Adam!

  • Heather - It’s not a shock after our engagement session with you, Edward, but man… you are so good at what you do. Everyone has been raving about the pictures this past week. Thank you for capturing the moments that were so special, and more so for getting the ones I almost forgot happened. You’re my hero!

  • Valerie Carey - The pictures were definitely worth the wait! Thank you for capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Sonia Ulmer - Gorgeous! Heather – you looked STUNNING! WOW WOW WOW!

  • melissa / wedding obsession - Great photos! Love the unique colour combination of the wedding.

When all of the traditions of an asian wedding meet a fun and hilarious bridal party, it is best to expect the unexpected. I photographed Mary and Tim’s wedding and laughed most of the day. The bridal party kept everyone howling, and the wind created some incredible candid moments as well. The reception was a held at the beautiful Silver Springs Golf Club, and decor was provided by the always impressive Table Talk. A night filled with celebration and even a few roasts capped off this wonderful, fun-filled day.

Mary and Tim, thanks for allowing me to share your day – I wish you both continued laughter and love.

A rainy day didn’t get Jennifer and Dustin down. This amazing high school sweetheart duo – laughed, cried and hugged through a beautiful wedding at the Calgary Zoo. We had so much fun together despite the near constant rainfall. There was a tenderness and comfort with each other that made every shot very powerful. Thanks to their awesome wedding party for trouping it out with us – and to Jennifer and Dustin, may you enjoy many years of laughter, happiness and stolen glances with each other.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your day. All the best,

Unique is often an overused word, but in this case it is very fitting. Sinead and Steffan have a very cool and special language all their own. You see it in the way they look at each other, and in the way they sometimes just get lost in moments together. From the first time I met them, I knew how much fun it would be to photograph and work with them, and all of my expectations were blown away. Honest and genuine people who were all about celebrating life with each other and their family and friends.

The ceremony took place at Irene Besse Keyboards, followed by a rainy but awesome photo shoot near the Ship and Anchor Pub. Finished with an amazing reception at the ultra hip Gerry Thomas Art Gallery.

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your moments, and I wish you many celebrations in your life’s journey.
