Roanne and Jason. Wedding at the Links of Gleneagles.

How much fun would it be to shoot Batman’s wedding. Or hanging out with the Justice League as a wedding party. What about photographing all of the Disney Princess’?

What if it were wrapped up in a beautiful couple who lived life to the fullest, and loved to have an amazing time all the time. Welcome to Roanne and Jason’s wedding!

We had so much fun shooting and celebrating all day with this great duo. Their bridal party kept the laughs coming all day – and the church and reception were elegant and a perfect fit for them. It was a superhero wedding with a fairy tale ending, and I wish you both a lifetime of happily ever afters.

All the best,

Edward

Shannon and James Wedding – Brilliance in Banff

I first photographed Eslin and Joel’s wedding in Golden a few years back. I was honoured and thrilled when her sister Shannon announced her wedding, and asked me to be a part of it. I already knew that it was going to be an amazing party – and with the combined craziness and genuine personalities of this awesome couple it was indeed a special day. Combine all of this with a gorgeous day in the mountains and it is a recipe for something extra special.

We started the day with a first look setup, and the anticipation and love was evident from Shannon as she strolled towards James. From there we trekked with the bridal party to a few gorgeous spots near  Banff, capturing some fun, fashion and spontaneous magic. Thanks to the awesome bridal party for trekking everywhere with us!

A gorgeous ceremony followed, with family and friends witnessing their vows at the Central Park Gazebo. Their reception was a elegant and sophisticated affair at the Banff Park Lodge – followed by a ton of laughter and dancing.

You are both a perfect fit, and I was so glad to be invited back into your family’s to share in this day with you. I know your lives will be filled with love, adventure and laughter, and I wish you my very best.

Isadora & Andrew – Love and Laughs at Hotel Arts

I know that I am a bit behind the summer blogging – but it is about to pick up. There are so many awesome memories to share!

Isadora and Andrew are one of those beautifully natural couples who share everything. It shows in the way they interact with each other, and those around them. From silliness, to romance they have so many amazing ways of showing their love and affection for one another.

They celebrated with a Tea Ceremony early in the morning, followed by a very touching ceremony at Center Street Church. From there we got right into some amazing shots on the grounds of the church as well as some very fun family and bridal party shots. This group was awesome to work with, and we had so much fun shooting around downtown and the hotel itself. Who knew that pink gophers could be part of a wedding?

The reception capped off a great day with many games, and a photobooth that was lined up continuously! The first dance was a celebration of their love, and the way they held each other was very touching.

I wish you both all my best and continue to celebrate each other!
